When we’re young and busy, it’s difficult to find time to
prepare healthy meals. But, since my roommate had to have three heart stents
and one leg stent, we had to radically changed our diet.
He worked three jobs for twenty years so he ate out at
restaurants or grabbed fast food. His food choices were all about taste and not
always healthy choice. It takes years for plaque to build up in our arteries,
which is why it’s never too late to start eating heart-healthy. You can reduce plaque build-up with a good diet and exercise.
Foods that help unclog arteries:
Since I am mainly confined to a bed (read my profile for more info about this), the few hours I spend out of
bed, I have to find quick and easy ways to prepare one-pot meals. I experiment with various ingredients and spices to make heart-healthy, low calorie dinners.
